Questions
Anything else? Email [email protected].
Is it the real format?
Yes. Each mock follows the official specification for its test: the same sections, question types, number of questions and timings, in a test screen built to feel like the computer-based exam, with a timer, flags and a question navigator.
Are the questions from past papers?
No. Every question is original, written for Principly to the official specifications. We never copy or reword official past papers or other publishers' material, and no question appears twice anywhere in the bank.
How is the decile estimate worked out?
We turn your mark into an estimated score and compare it with score bands we set for each test from what is known about how candidates score. It's a guide to where you stand and whether you're improving, not a prediction of your official result.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The whole site works on a phone, including full timed mocks, with large answer buttons, a pop-up question navigator and a calculator where the test allows one. A laptop is closer to the real test day, so sit at least a few full mocks on one.
Do I need to subscribe?
No. Every purchase is a one-off payment, from £9 for a single mock. Nothing renews. Your access works on this device straight away, and you can restore it on another device with your email and order reference.
What if I find a mistake?
Every question is checked twice, either by calculation or by an independent solver who works it out without seeing the answer. If you still think something is wrong, email [email protected] with the test, set and question number. We'll check it and fix it.
Which test do I need?
It depends on the course and the university. Each test page lists universities that use it, and our guides explain the format and dates. Always confirm on the university's own admissions page.
